Artist/Painter: Christopher Mark Brown
I have found a way to combine my love for live music and my passion for visual art: LIVE PAINTING! I paint while musician's are performing. I start when the music begins and I end when the music stops. I am forced to paint with a focused intensity and purpose that comes from the time limitation. The challenge of producing a fully realized painting in this format has pushed me as painter and artist. The energy that the musical performance brings translates into my compositions and the feel of the pictures. I love all kinds of music so I'll paint with all kinds of bands ranging from folk and hiphop to orchestras and rock n roll.
