I have found a way to combine my love for live music and my passion for visual art: LIVE PAINTING! I paint while musicans are performing. When the performance is over so am I. Then I auction off the painting. It pushes me to paint fast, and through the time limitation I am inspired to paint differently than I would in my studio. Crowds have enjoyed my work while they enjoy music, its a beautiful combination.

Donut Paintings

Some good friends of mine; Vince Traver and Kiah Gumeringer. Opened up Sleepy V’s donut shop in 2018 located in NE Minneapolis. They have been kind enough to support local artists such as me. The rotate artists every month, and they let me paint donuts when I can. I get their at 7 a.m. and try and finish by 9:00 or 10:00. They usually sell the day of! Its a fantastic way to challenge myself and paint something I normally would not think of.
